The range of holiday rentals in Oeiras is not as great as in some areas as it is less well known than its more famous neighbours.
There are apartments to rent in Oieras which have the advantage of being both near the sea and the town. I have seen one, two and three bedroomed apartments to rent in Oeiras but none with any kind of swimming pool.
The main attraction seems to be the marina where there are bars and restaurants. If you are a large party and are looking for a villa with a private pool you will be better off looking in some of the more popular areas such as Estoril.

Due to its proximity to Lisbon, Oeiras is well served by roads and public transport so you will have no trouble reaching your Oeiras holiday rental. A hire car is a good idea as there is plenty to see and visit in the countryside, but make sure that you will have somewhere secure to park overnight and never leave anything visible in the car.
